Being at home in quarantine, I’ve had plenty of time to go through alllll of my things and the most enjoyable finds have been my old notebooks. They’re such a fun snapshot in time of what I was doing, thinking, and reading at the time. I’m an avid reader and I like to jot down any quotes that resonate. It was so enjoyable to come across old notes and I thought it might be nice to have them live somewhere a little more permanent than notebooks. Here are some of my favorite re-discovered quotes including some related to minimalism, some to financial independence, and some about inspiration and creativity in general.

“Maybe it is time to stop defining ourselves as “consumers” but as members of a community. A member of a community strives for “better,” not “more.” When we stop buying more we suddenly find ourselves with time on our hands for the important things in life.” – Shia Su
