This weekend I stopped into M. Flynn Accessories in the South End for the first time and was so impressed. A jewelry boutique run by sisters Megan & Moria, M. Flynn offers a beautifully curated selection of accessories as well as custom designed pieces, presented in a unique space.
I’m always so interested in seeing the layout and displays of one of a kind shops, and M. Flynn had such fun details. Located in an artist studio building, the Flynn ladies have brought an incredible amount of chic to this originally rough and industrial space. The wooden beam ceilings remain exposed and provide a great contrast to the ladylike pastels and patterns of the shop.
The shop is sweet down to the smallest detail. I especially love special touches in the displays like a pair of vintage suitcases filling the space under one of the tables. And how cute are these letterpress earring cards?
The presentation is left clean and simple so that jewelry can speak for itself. Necklaces are nicely clustered and you’ll want to spend time looking at each individual piece. I was thrilled to learn that they stock a great selection of The Ropes bracelets (believe me, they’re not the easiest to find).
In addition to the front showroom they have a special occasion and bridal boutique, Faire la Fête, which aptly means “Life of the Party.” In this section of the store they carry lines like Alexis Bittar, as well as celebration pieces and estate jewelry. If you’re interested in a custom creation, like an engagement ring, they do that as well!
Megan & Moria are spot on when they call Faire la Fête a “store within a store.” Walking into this second room you feel like you’re in a whole new shop. The pale peach wall color is the perfect girly hue and the chandeliers add another layer of elegance. You’ll wish you were in your party dress right then and there!
A special thanks to Sarah McManus, the lovely lady behind Boston Stylista for showing me around! If you’re in the South End stop and say hello to Sarah, Megan & Moria!

the showroom itself is so cute!
They did such a great job with the space! I’m a sucker for a chandelier.
