I don’t know what it is….but when it comes to decorating, I’ve always had a thing for skulls. Luckily my Tim Burton-esque love for all things skeletal becomes more widely accepted around Halloween. From Day of the Dead, to pirate skull and crossbones, to glittery and girly, there are a lot of ways to incorporate skull motifs into your decor. Below are some of my favorite examples (both bold and subtle). If it were up to me, I’d proudly decorate my home this way year round.

I’d never think skulls could fit so cute into everything. I love Tim Burton, but never thought to translate that to real life 🙂
