I feel very fortunate to come from a highly entrepreneurial and creative family (that has really great taste!) Lots of my family’s talents came together last weekend when they threw me a beautiful bridal shower at the Adams Center. My cousin Kendra, who designs custom invitations, stationary, and other pieces for special events at A Seaside Invitation, designed the invite for my shower.
She’s so talented and I absolutely love her work. The invite was a surprise to me and it was spot on! Even better, as a shower gift Kendra gave me Thank You notes that match the invite. How perfect are they? It truly is the tiny details that make events special and I am very thankful that my celebration was so highly personalized and so many special people were involved.
Kendra is the master of special details! All of her work is absolutely beautiful but one of my favorite pieces of hers was the nautical Save the Date she created for her own wedding. It’s so different and totally her style. Her fiancee even helped tie and glue the small knots! It was this first piece that kickstarted the idea for her business. “I realized I had a passion for designing custom invitations and stationery after creating a few pieces for my own wedding in 2010. I started designing invitations, holiday cards, announcements, thank you notes, etc for friends and family and now have expanded to designing for a wide range of clients through Etsy.”
“I have always been a stickler for even the smallest details and treat every piece with great care, as if it was my own. What I love most about designing for special occasions is that I can offer brides and other clients a custom design that fits their unique style and vision, at a reasonable cost (it is paper after all!).” // Photos above by Kelly Cronin Photography.

how cute! I hope you share more shower pics 🙂
It was a busy day and unfortunately I only got a few photos – if I get my act together I’ll do a round up of the ones I did take!
