Salt House Inn, Provincetown

Salt House Inn
In New England we’re fortunate to live within driving distance of so many vacation-worthy places. After the winter we had, Kyle and I vowed to make every weekend of Summer 2015 count. We’ve been fortunate to hike in the White Mountains, boat on the Cape, take mini trips to Burlington, VT, Newport, RI and lots of other places in between. I’m already making my list for next year and Provincetown is at the top. I haven’t spent much time in P-Town, but with so many cute boutiques, restaurants and beaches — it’s the perfect summer spot.

Salt House Inn vintage charm
When we do venture to Provincetown, there’s zero doubt about where we’ll be staying. I stumbled across the Salt House Inn a while ago and the boutique hotel is New England summer perfection. The modest white walls and collections of vintage pieces assembled as a makeshift headboard are just too charming. I’m also always a sucker for old school oil lamps (and have a collection myself). It’s clear that the owners have a great eye for design and have created a downright dreamy B&B.

Guests rave about the cozy rooms, morning breakfast and the hospitality. The Salt House Inn just oozes vintage charm and I can’t wait to experience it for myself in the future!

What getaways are you looking forward to?

  1. I also would like to weekend at Provincetown but I had my eye on the Land’s End Inn. It looks over the top artsy which is what I like. I also might check out Casco Bay in Maine. I saw a lovely home through AirBnb and I would like to stay there relaxing by the bay and daytripping in Portland.
