Every year at work we do a gift swap called “Secret Snowflake” and this season I pulled my friend Andrew’s name. He’s a fan of Manhattans so I decided to get him a set of bitters. I found exactly what I was looking for at DRAM Apothecary and I had to share some shots from their site with you.

Located in Silver Plume, Colorado, DRAM took over a small building that was formerly a bakery for 40 years – and a mining supply store before that.

They pay homage to the building’s history with a sign on the exterior and the lovingly named “Bread Bar” in the tasting room.

If you’re looking for a guy gift they’re a great place to start. I ended up with the set of 4 gift set which included – Honey Chamomile, Citrus Medica, Wild Mountain sage, and Hair of the Dog Aromatic Hangover Tonic.

In addition to herbal bitters, they carry loose leaf teas and syrups. It would be a dream to visit the tasting bar!
