One of the things I love about Instagram is that it allows you to find and connect with likeminded people who love design. For quite some time I’ve enjoyed following @thejoshuatreehouse. The Joshua Tree House is a project between husband and wife team Rich and Sara Combs. They’re working to restore and decorate a 1949 hacienda in Joshua Tree, CA, which will be available to rent in the near future!
I love their style and it’s been a lot of fun to follow their progress and see their design inspiration. You can see the before photos of the house on their blog Design Comb and also see posts about the updates they’ve been making.
I’ll definitely be dreaming of a desert retreat when the days get cold here in Boston. Can’t you imagine having your morning coffee on this front porch?
