I’ll admit it. I’m a lover of all things pumpkin and every fall I get excited to start incorporating the flavor into my daily routine. Most mornings I make a quick smoothie for breakfast before heading out the door for the day, and this one is perfect for the start of the fall season!

I drink a lot of green smoothies, so this seasonal Pumpkin Cinnamon smoothie is a bit of a treat. It’s simple to make, still healthy, and super quick! Just gather a few ingredients and you’ll be on your way!

Ingredients
-2 Frozen Bananas
-1/2 cup Organic Pumpkin Puree
-1/2 cup Almond Milk
-1/4 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
-1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
-1/2 Vanilla Extract

Add all the ingredients into blender, starting with the almond milk and frozen bananas. Blend on high for about 2 minutes and you’ll be ready to go. Enjoy at home or pour into a to-go cup and take it with you!

I love when I find a morning option that tastes so delicious, that I start thinking about it the night before. Seriously, I look forward to this smoothie just I like I do my morning coffee. The frozen bananas give it a smooth creamy texture (almost like ice cream), but the cinnamon and pumpkin pie offer the strongest flavors.

There’s nothing better than when you find an option that tastes just as good as dessert. If you’re looking for more super fun (albeit slightly less healthy) breakfast inspiration, here are some other options for breakfast desserts. Maybe save those for weekend treats!

Another smoothie that I’ve lived on this summer is this Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie from the blog, Like Mother Like Daughter. It’s insanely delicious and still a healthy
morning choice.

Do you have any go-to smoothies to start the day? I’d love to hear what your morning meal routine includes in the comments section below.
